General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the NPP is creating problems for themselves and tax collecting agencies in the country.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the NPP politicians said many things that has ensnared them in government. “If you told people that you will take away taxes and then develop the country with money generated from sealing leakages in the country’s purse, and now send civil servants to go for taxes, you have ignited problems for them”.
“The NPP has to come out and eat humble pie”, he said and emphasized the need for the government to embark on education on the masses regarding how their monies will be utilized.
He was speaking about the ongoing TV licence quagmire the government finds itself in among other related subjects on Accra FM.
