The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has questioned Madam Akua Donkor’s contributions to national development for her to enjoy favour from government.
“We know she is a leader of a political party but we cannot pinpoint what she has done for the country in terms of development to compel the President to buy her two cars and a house”
The founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party ( GFP) admitted receiving two Mitsubishi pajaro vehicles and a house from President John Manama for being loyal to the presidency.
NPP Communications Director, Nana Akomea, earlier this week on Accra based Neat FM described the move by government as misplaced.
“It is unfortunate how the President is abusing state funds; Akua Donkor’s case is an example of administrative injustices”, Nana Akomea pointed out.
“Monies used to purchase the two vehicles and a house for a “comic” politician can change the living standard of “Kayayei” if invested wisely, the communications director added.
“Government has ignored priorities. ..this is not the first, Akwasi Addai Odike is also on record telling his party members he has received money from government to build UFP. What then will these expenditures do for the Ghanaian? “
