Ghana Education News-The Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako has commenced daily tours of schools in Ashanti that are undertaking vacation classes for students who are preparing for Senior High School or form three (3) in Junior High School (JHS).
Starting last week from the Asokwa constituency on the 16th of August, Mr Adomako in the company of the Member of Parliament, Madam Patricia Appiagyei and some members of the party’s youth wing visited the Ahinsan and Chirapatre schools where over one thousand students were participating in the vacation classes put by the MP.
At the Asante Akyem South constituency the following day, Mr Adomako joined Lawyer Kwaku Asante Boateng, MP for the area to visit all schools that were undertaking the exercise.
At the Bantama constituency the third day, Mr Adomako accompanied by the chairman and officials of the constituency as well as aides of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Asenso Boakye visited two schools that were having the classes for students in the area.
ENCOURAGEMENT:
Speaking at various assembly grounds of the places visited, Mr Adomako intimated the importance of staying in school to revise over notes during long vacation periods.
For those entering SHS for the first time, Mr Adomako, a university lecturer and human development mentor encouraged the students to take the lessons serious so they can be able to get the drift of the things they will study at the first year.
He stressed the determination of the NPP to develop the country through the vigorous and careful investments in education.
Mr Adomako thanked the teachers profusely and mentioned that education is the best pivot on which both human and social development thrives on.
‘’I urge you to take the lessons you are being given serious because it will give you the needed cushion to settle in school as you begin the new academic season in September’’, Mr Adomako admonished.
MPS:
Addressing the students at Chirapatre and Ahinsan, Madam Patricia Appiagyei urged the students to take their education seriously.
She stressed that as students they give off their best in studying and researching into subjects they are offering as if their very lives depended on them.
Lawyer Kwaku Asante Boateng at Juaso admonished students to stay glued to their books while they have opportunity to be in school.
He noted those who become influential in society are the ones who normally take time to study the courses they are offering in school.
