TESCON-Francis Adomako, the Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the party would resource TESCON and other student wings across the country.
This, he noted is to make them function more effectively as well as carry out their mandate of propagating the good policies of government on campus.
Addressing the party’s Tertiary Education and Students Confederacy Network (TESCON) of Christian Service University College (CSUC) at Santasi, Mr Adomako promised to lobby for more support for the group to make their activities visible and vibrant on campus as well as in the community.
He also promised to make arrangements for the group to be officially recognized by the school authorities so they can carry out their activities a bit more boldly and outwardly on campus.
‘’I am glad to see you all fired up to work for the NPP on campus as well as in this community and as the regional organizer I promise to push for your activities to be recognized by your school and also endow you with resources to make you function more effectively’’, Mr Adomako noted.
ST MONICA’S MIDWIFERY COLLEGE TOUR:
Earlier on in the week, Mr Adomako visited the campus of Saint Monica’s Midwifery School in Mampong, a popular town in the Ashanti Region.
The organizer while addressing the students assured them of government’s support for such colleges of education and training.
The NPP government, Mr Adomako posited is resolved to resource and retool all of such colleges so they can offer the best of tuition or training.
He urged the students to attend with seriousness the courses they are offering on campus so that they can come out with sterling performances at the end of their study.
‘’I assure you that once you are in school this government is after your welfare and is currently exploring all avenues to make your academic studies less stressful’’, Mr Adomako assured.
VISIT TO KEJETIA NPP WING:
Visiting the Kejetia branch of the NPP supporters’ wing last Wednesday after touring Nsuta where he had met party executives and the MP for the area, Hon Asafu-Agyei, Mr Adomako encouraged them to remain solid behind the party.
The NPP, the regional organizer stated has not forgotten identifiable groups such as the Kejetia Elephant Movement that worked to ensure victory for the party in the 2016 general elections.
Resources and support initiatives, Mr Adomako indicated would be released in due course for the group to carry out its programs and activities.
‘’We in the NPP know the value of your work in and around this Kejetia market and we would surely release resources to make you carry out more of your activities’’, the regional organizer assured.
