NPP Communication Team Member, Kofi Twum Boafo says the NPP will not borrow to celebrate Ghana’s independence anniversary as suggested by MP for Buem Constituency; Daniel Ashaimah.
“Borrowing to celebrate Ghana@60 will be one of the most useless exercises the NPP will not do” Kofi Twum rebuts.
According to him, the NDC Government is fond of burning the truth, and that caused their landslide defeat in the polls. Ghana owes internally and externally hence, it will be a bombshell for the NPP to follow the steps of NDC that led to their doom.
He added that, H.E Akufo Addo and the NPP are not in power to mismanage resources but to make sure, the problems of this country are fixed. “To have a good Governance, you need to have managerial skills, to protect the public purse. The NPP is setting their priorities right, they are making sure that, the very little they have is protected to move their agenda.”
“This country is vigorously broke, and we won’t incur more debt by borrowing. We will manage what we have”, he stated.
