NPP’s defeat will not affect my passion for my people in any way-Techiman South MP

MP for Techiman South Constituency; Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah

The Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency Martin Kwaku Adjei-Mensah Korsah has reiterated that his passion and commitment for the People will not change despite his party’s defeat in the country’s recent General Elections.

Addressing a heavy crowd at the NPP Constituency Office after a ‘Thank You Walk’ through the principal streets of Techiman which brought together Regional & Constituency Party Executives, Patrons, Council of Elders, NPP supporters and sympathisers, Hon. Adjustable Korsah said he will never take his re-election lightly. He believes it signifies the high confidence his constituents have in him.

Hon. Korsah continued by making a passionate appeal to NPP members and sympathizers to put the 2024 elections defeat behind them, refrain from blame games and re-organize themselves towards the next polls in 2028 in order to bounce back stronger. He believes the NDC won the elections on propaganda and cannot meet the expectations of Ghanaians.

Techiman South the only seat won by the NPP out of the eleven (11) in the Bono East Region was amongst the disputed Constituencies where the Electoral Commission could not conclude collation due to attacks by some thugs.

The courts however intervened to clear Hon.  Korsah after which he was consequently declared winner of the Techiman South Parliamentary Election.
