The women organizer of the New Patriotic Party in the Amenfi central constituency Mrs. Agnes Awusi popularly known as madam Aggie has passed on.
Her demise was announced after a short illness at the Bawdie government hospital in the western region.
Speaking in an interview with rawgist.com’s Nimrod Okyere during a visit to her family house, daughter of the demised, Eunice Dankwa noted “my mum called one of her sisters to assist her to the hospital on Sunday since she had a strange feeling in her body.My mum was conveyed to the Bawdie government hospital by her sister at about 2PM on Sunday”.
“On tuesday at exactly 3pm my mum was pronounced dead”.
The sudden demise of Mrs. Agnes Awusi is considered a big blow to the party, constituency and her family at large.
Her final funeral rites is slated on 8 January 2016.
She died at age 49.
