The deputy executive director of the National Service scheme, Henry Nana Boakye has hinted of the secretariat’s plan of introducing a one district one farm policy. This policy according to him is a way of supporting the one district one factory policy by the government.
Speaking at the launching of Unity Hall week celebration at KNUST on Wednesday, he stated that the new arrangement will help boost job creation in the country.
He added that government has a comprehensive plan for the youth to address the unemployment situation.
Henry Nana Boakye also urged the leadership of the hall to introduce entrepreneurship programmes to nurture the entrepreneurship skills of the youth.
