Information reaching rawgist.com is that a new party is set to appear on the Ghanaian political scene.
The United Peoples’ Party (UPP) is being formed from the already existing United Freedom Party (UFP) and is expected to have former Presidential candidate of the UFP, Akwasi Addai as founder.
There have been consistent misunderstanding among the executive of the UFP since its inception.
Nana Agyenim Boateng popularly known as Gyataba, Founder and Chairman of the United Front Party (UFP), has already filed a suit to affirm the suspension of the party’s 2012 presidential candidate, Akwasi Addai, popularly called Odike as well as Samuel Bekoe Owusu and Razak Kojo Opoku, General Secretary and Deputy General Secretary of the party respectively.
They stand accused of “conducts inimical to the interest of the party but rather geared towards their own personal aggrandizement”.
