The Japanese-American trainer was spotted lurking around Dormaa on Wednesday, fuelling speculations of possibly replacing out-of-favoured Abubakar.
This will be Kenichi’s third club in management since beginning his career in 2015 with Hearts of Oak.
There was no time to spare as he zoomed straight to the training grounds to have his first training session with the team.
Aduana prepares to face AS Vita Club of Congo next week, and will be hoping to turn things around after gaining just a point from two games.
Domestically, Aduana are 14th on the league log with 14 points after the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League, but have outstanding matches to clear.
