Former Ashanti regional Secretary of the NDC, Joseph Yammin believes the NDC will be able to meet its 2016 target of one million votes plus ten parliamentary seats in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
The region is largely considered a stronghold of the largest opposition party; the NPP.
Joseph Yammin, who helped the NDC set a new electoral record in the region during the last election believes it should not be difficult to achieve one million votes and ten parliamentary seats.
He had earlier pitched for half of all Ashanti votes.
Joseph Yammin, after rumours of his resignation from active politics surfaced last weekend to address NDC youth in the Ashanti region; a situation that brought joy to the youth wing of the party with many seen obviously jubilating and chanting his name.
