The General Overseer for Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Reverend Ransford Obeng says God has a fresh word for his people every year and in every season.
This word, the CCC leader intimated comes through his servants in the shape of teachings, admonitions, cautions and prophecies at specific periods.
Addressing a press conference ahead of an upcoming spiritual empowerment program with the General Overseer of ICGC from the 17th to 19th of January, 2020 at the church’s headquarters in Ayigya, a community in Asokore-Mampong Municipality, Rev Obeng said God has prepared one of his choicest servants, Dr Mensa Otabil to bring a fresh word to his people.
Rev Obeng added that this fresh word has the potential to establish, root and ground believers when they take it serious to do and to obey what it calls for.
‘’God the architect of the universe wants his children to grow just as plants grow when they are supplied with the nutrients they need and so God has also prepared Dr Mensa Otabil to minister his fresh word to his people in the Ashanti Region, especially those living in the Kumasi Metropolis’’, Rev Obeng stressed.
ADMONITION:
The CCC leader advised the public to be civil in their comments on radio or any public platform they meet to discuss issues.
He also urged politicians to discuss issues rather than the churning out of insults as the electioneering period draws close.
Reverend Obeng noted that Ghanaians are cultured people and therefore urged the public to mirror that image by the way they conduct themselves.
The CCC vision-carrier pleaded with the Electoral Commission (EC) as well as the registered political parties to use dialogue to settle differences they may have, noting that everything should be done in a manner that would make the 2020 general elections a credible one.
‘’I will urge the public as well as everyone who plays a role in Ghana’s development to use dialogue to settle whatever differences they may have regarding any issue under discussion and help to build a cultured society even as we prepare for the upcoming general election in December’’, Rev Obeng intimated.
LIEFSTYLES:
Answering questions from the media, Reverend Obeng challenged people to strive to live godly lives.
He noted that those who live by the dictates of the Bible will not be exempt from struggles in life but God will pull them through any difficulties that will come their way.
The practice of extra marital affair, promiscuous living and the sort, Rev Obeng noted was a drain on the soul as well as on the very life of persons who indulge in same.
He opined that what people do secretly plays out in the open and cautioned the public to live exemplary lifestyles so that the younger generation could copy the right things from them.
‘’If you are married stay true to your spouse and if you are single live as such until you marry so that you do not taint yourself with fornication or adultery which would be punished by God on the judgment day’’, the CCC leader passionately cautioned.
