Otumfuo Tours Renovated Floors At KATH…Commends HeKaP Committee.
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has expressed satisfaction with the renovation works being done by contractors and artisans at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Touring the facility last Friday to inspect two renovated floors at the A-block, the Asantehene commended the Heal Komfo Anokye Project (HeKaP) Committee for overseeing a marvelous work of quality.
Occasionally patting the shoulders of some of the Committee members including Prof. Otchere Addai-Mensah, the CEO of KATH and Samuel Adu-Boakye, Chairman of HeKaP, Otumfuo urged them to continue with the diligent work and deliver same for use by hospital authorities and patients.
Spending over two hours, the Asantehene inspected the two A-4 and A-5 floors which included newly fixed nurse stations, washrooms, kitchen, wards as well as many others at the two floors.

Mr Joseph Osei Brown, Managing Director of JOSHOB Construction Limited and a major donor to the HeKaP project told newsmen that he was happy with the quality of work.
He also commended the commitee for their diligence and asked that they keep their eyes on the project.
Mr Brown however appealed to the public as well as private and corporate institutions that were yet to donate towards the project to kindly do so.
“I appeal to all of us in Ghana 
to dutifully donate towards the ongoing renovation works since what the contactors have delivered so far was pure quality job which would serve all of us well”, Mr Joshob appealed.
Chairman of HeKaP:
Speaking to the media, Chairman of Heal Komfo Anokye Project (HeKaP), Mr Samuel Adu Boakye said the committee members have been humbled by the visit by Otumfuo.
He said to see Otumfuo happy with the delivery of the two floors, they were also determined to work with the speed of light to complete the others.
Currently, the Committee would make use of the make shift structure that housed patients that were evacuated from the two renovated floors and carry out a phased project to complete all floors, the Chairman noted.
“I’ll use this opportunity on behalf of the CEO and other members of the HeKaP committee to thank Otumfuo for honoring us with this task and to humbly commend all the people in the country who have contributed over 4million dollars to enable us to commence this project. I also kindly ask that the public continue to donate to enable us to complete a full job on the four Blocks at KATH”, Mr. Adu-Boakye stated.
