The minister for Petroleum Oil and gas, Hon Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has vowed to take action to ensure the interest of the people Ghana are served through liberalization of prices of petroleum.
He says his decision to push for the de-regularization of petroleum prices is in the interest of the country.
The minister, who was on a working visit to the Kumasi depot of the Bulk Oil Storage Transportation Company (BOST) said government is losing out and will resource BOST to expand to the benefit of the workers and the nation.
Mr Armah Buah also assured BOST of the support of the president in their quest to execute any action in the interest of the company and the people of Ghana.He revealed that government is incurring more debts from State Owned Enterprise (SOE) that are supposed to make profit for government. He added government will be tougher on OMCs and BDCs to ensure efficiency and reduce corruption
