Police tata bus sold at ghc 600 to the eastern regional deputy police commander
Information reaching Media-Advocate has it that, the eastern Regional Police service has auction a Tata bus at the cost of Ghc 600 to the Deputy Regional Commander of Police.
The Tata Bus has been auction to the deputy eastern regional police Commander known as Abass Abaah.
Further investigations carried out by Media-Advocate has it that, the service police driver takes the bus out every morning to work at an unknown place and returns it after 3pm every day. This is unbelievable to most of the police personnel’s and can’t understands why law enforcement body must involve themselves in such a corrupt attitude when the service needs more vehicle to help in their daily operations.
Media-Advocate gathered the new registration number of this Tata bus is ER 1782-14 and registered in the name of one Bernard Bawumia , Post Office Box 200, Koforidua. The Tata bus is sprayed in a blue and white.
The eastern regional Police Service is in need of vehicles to carry out their daily activities for the service. But the Deputy Regional Commander is unconcern about this and instead looting the once left for the service at an unreasonable price.
Looking at the rate at which our leaders are embracing this maxim of CREATE, LOOT AND SHARE, it would get to a time where all government assets would be possess by private entities or individuals.
This is very shameful for a whole Regional Deputy Police Commander to be caught in this uncertain act, and feels proud to also utter words daring to face the Eastern regional President of house of Chiefs and Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin for a planned tour to inspect bad roads in eastern region last two months.
Has he seen where his ignorance has landed him? Such corrupt Officers must be exposed in other not to always give bad names to the security services. We know many of the security officers in the police service who are honest and loyal to the service and they can’t suffer insults as a result of the actions of the few corrupt ones. We salute the loyal, faithful, dedicated and decent Police officers for their good works.
We would be very glad if the government would investigate this corrupt behavior taking its root into our law enforcement services before the worst gets out of hands.
