A renowned legal practitioner Atoapomah Koduah has stated that politicians need to be resourceful in order to pursue their visions in politics.
He was commenting on the issue raised by the minority leader in parliament Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu who stated that Ghanaian politics are now influenced by money.
Speaking to Richmond Antwi Boasiko on the yeresuadee morning show on Royal fm,Lawyer Atuapomah said for politicians to embark on campaigns and other political events they need to be strong financially. He however stated that monetization in Ghana’s politics is corrupting the verdict of electorates in the country.
He noted that monetization in politics is not only found during parliamentary primaries but also during presidential elections. Lawyer Koduah stated that this breeds corruption;adding that electorates need to be re-oriented on the need to consider the competence of the individual.
