The progressive Peoples Party (PPP) will hold a symposium to mark its second anniversary at Tarkwa in the Western Region today Saturday May 3rd 2014.
The event which comes off this morning will see party founder and 2012 Presidential candidate Dr. Paa Kwasi Ndoum, his Running Mate Ms. Eva Lokko and National Chairman Nii Allotey Brew-Hammond and other leading members as well as supporters converge at the Tarkwa Community Centre to commemorate the day.
A statement signed by Party General Secretary Yaw Asamoah Siaw said the party will use the occasion to brief Ghanaians on the progress so far made within the past two years of its existence; report on the current state of the party; and educate members on the party’s policy positions on various sectors of the nation.
It said the PPP is determined to wrestle power from the two parties in the 2016 elections and the party is living the reality of that dream with pragmatic programmes and measures that seek to convince the Ghanaian electorate that the PPP is the party of choice.
