The Progressive People’s Party, PPP will this Saturday 25th October, 2014 elect its regional executives for the Eastern Region.
The event to be held in the regional capital Koforidua forms part of the party’s organizational efforts towards the 2016 general elections.
The PPP had already completed all constituency and polling station elections across the country.
Saturday’s conference will be the second of such regional event after organizing one in the central region.
Speaking to LIVE NEWS, the General Secretary of the party, Kofi Asamoah Siaw says the Upper East, Upper West and the Brong Ahafo regions will follow after Eastern region.
He says the PPP has started the process of building the party from the grass root and is working hard to become attractive and acceptable to Ghanaians.
