The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako affectionately called Chairman Wontumi has described sitting Ghanaian President John Mahama as a replica of the biblical King Nebuchadnezzar.
He said King Nebuchadnezzar in the bible was a very wicked King of the Babylonian Empire who did not listen to God and his subjects but rather allowed them to go through hardships to the zenith and the current President John Dramani Mahama is just like him.
The Ashanti NPP chairman who was speaking on Techiman based Classic FM said the president does not listen to any advice and that is the reason why the country is going through difficult times.
He was explaining Nana Addo’s target of 80% votes in the Ashanti region in the forthcoming general elections.
He continued that later on King Nebuchadnezzar in the Bible was turned into an animal because of disobedience therefore soon the President will follow suit.
