Prof. Dontwi advises students of Bibiani SHTS to carve a nice future by studying hard

Senior lecturer at the department of mathematics of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) , has urged students of Bibiani Senior high technical school in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai municipality, to be focused and study hard for their own future.

Professor Isaac Kwame Dontwi was speaking with Awuku Addo Okyeame; a journalist with radio Bibiani during the unveiling ceremony of a bust of his father , Mr Isaac Kofi Dontwi who was the first headmaster of Bibiani Senior high technical school, (BISEC, from 14th January 1966 to 20th December, 1974).

He explained that they, the children of Mr. Isaac Kof Dontwi intend to erect monuments in various schools their father headed as well as his home town where he later became chief. He was particularly happy that the Bibiani Senior High Technical School was the first institution to make this initiative possible.

Nana Kwadwo Bonyah , Atipemhene of Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area and chief of Sefwi Adiembra who represented the President of the National House of Chiefs and Paramount chief of Sefwi Anhwiaso traditional area ,Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi ll also said Mr. Dontwi , though not alive is reaping the good works he sowed when he had the opportunity.

Nana Bonyah then advised the teachers in the school to do their best to be remembered in future.

Subsequently, the headmaster of Bibiani Senior high technical school ,( BISEC) Mr Stephen Kordzo Dandy explained that he learnt an important lesson from his former headmaster regarding the importance of honoring one’s predecessors who have excelled in their duties; lessons he has put into practice since he assumed office in 2019. He promised to continue honoring former heads who worked hard for the school yearly.
