The presiding member for Pru district Hon. Wisdom K. Zor has emphasised the need to speedily resolve the chieftaincy conflict at Abease.
He tells rawgist.com there are many unresolved chieftaincy disputes pending in the Brong Ahafo region; a situation he says does not auger well for development of the region.
He reveals that his district has already spent over GHC 150,000.00 on security alone which are mainly chieftaincy related to the detriment of development projects.
The unhappy PM cautioned war-mongers to desist from fomenting trouble in the area since security agencies are on high alert.
He also calls on the regional house of Chiefs and other institutions mandated to resolve disputes and promote peace to pay attention to the area.
