Ghanaian entertainer Wanlov Kobolor has descended heavily on Christianity after releasing an album in which he talks about wanting to kill all Christians so they can go to heaven and stop suffering on earth.
Speaking to YFM Kumasi’s Kwame Scientific, Wanlov said he doesn’t claim to be a christian but behaves like a christian should. He describes religion as something created by human beings to control other human beings. “I don’t believe in a being with human form floating somewhere in the sky called God”.
“Christians are suffering in the world today and it’s their believe that when they die they go to heaven I think it will be better to kill them so they can go to heaven and enjoy now and stop suffering. When you are a christian and you go to church without enough money, your pastor will not make you sit in front. and as a christian you can give all your money to the church during collection, extra collection, secondary collection, building collection but when you have a family problem the church is not there
to help you but rather ask for more money. Like when you want to do your wedding or birthday”.
Wanlov, who says he has been through a bible school in Texas believes christianity is about being spiritual. He says “if you spend your life chasing material things, you will never be satisfied but Christians are all about getting wealth and flaunting it in your neighbour’s face”.
In his new song “very soon” featuring Funsho Ogundipe, Kobolor mentions some known pastors including Duncan Williams, Pastor Chris, Obinim, TB Joshua and “predicts” their individual deaths.
