Ghanaian singer Becca has a latest single ‘Steady’ and it features Nigerian rapper Ice Prince. Steady was written by Robby Adams and Becca, produced by Kay-So.
The producer Kay-So describes the beat as a bottle of cold water on a hot day. A song you can exercise with and fall asleep to at the same time.
Becca provides warm lovely catchy vocals for the love song that gives assurance of love, a ‘Steady ‘ unrelenting love. Steady sounds more like a South African House song.
Ice Prince gives a perfect Intro to the love song that makes it sound more like an evening dinner dance song:”Good evening ladies and gentlemen , it’s your boy Ice Prince Armani, reporting live from the bottom of my heart”.
Becca assures her lover of her love when she sings “I’m gonna find you where ever you are”. Just before the hook kicks in Becca gives a stronger assurance of her love for her lover when she sings “when you are lost I will find you, listen to your heart.”
Ice Prince makes the hook easy to remember when he sings “da da da da”. Ice Prince uses metaphor in the line “I will be ready for the bullets when the shots get in, because am a bullet proof…”, to compare himself to a bullet proof, to show his lover he can handle any external forces that will come against their love.
This song may only become a radio hit in Ghana but can be a huge hit on radio and in clubs in most countries; especially African countries where House Music is prevalent; precisely in South Africa once it gets effective promotion.
I like the way she use to song
