Former Ashanti regional Minister under President Kufour’s administration; S.K Boafo says he is saddened by the kind of reception the party’s flagbearer had when he visited the Ashanti region during the weekend.
He feared the party was loosing grounds in what is considered its strong hold.
A frustrated S.K. Boafo charged the party chairman to go out and find people to go to the markets and other places to make sure that a renewed vigor for the NPP is achieved in the Ashanti region.
He advised party executives to do something about the situation so that the next time the party hierarchy visits, they will receive a much more enthusiastic and reassuring welcome.
