General Manager for Samartex timber and plywood company, Richard Nsenkyire is asking for sponsorship from individuals and corporate bodies to support the samartex football club.
He says the Samartex football club is currently making a financial loss though there are social pay-offs which cannot be quantified. He tells Sir Antwi Boasiako on Royal fm that sister company; the Samartex Timber and Plywood Company’s sole sponsorship is not enough to push the samartex football club into a position of glory.
Richard Nsenkyire noted that football is a business entity on its own with fulltime football administrators, coaches and professional players.
“At first football was a passion however now it is not a passion anymore”.
Mr Nsenkyire hinted that the management and board will be reconstituted to make it more vibrant to pursue the required sponsorship for the Samartex football club.
