Ghana News–Dancehall Artiste, Samini and legendary Highlife Musician, Pat Thomas thrilled over 3000 revelers at this year’s May Day Celebration at Samreboi in the Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region. The Program was organised by Samartex Timber and Plywood Company Limited to thrill workers and participants with Contemporary Highlife Music in addition to a special dinner to reward its gallant and hardworking employees.

The over 2000 workers of Ghana’s surviving timber firm celebrated the event in grand style with others who thronged the Samartex Management Club House on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 to enjoy live musical performances from Samini and Pat Thomas.
Asked why he invited the duo, Richard Nsenkyire said, “Samini and Pat Thomas represent a lasting brand of Highlife Music in Ghana’s musical history and are a great inspiration to many upcoming musicians.
