Sanitation: “learn from Church of Pentecost”-Sefwi Bekwai manhene urges

A clean-up exercise organized by the Church of Pentecost in Sefwi Bekwai won the hearts of the Paramount Chief and the residents of the town.

The “environmental care campaign” is in line wih the church’s five year policy and was held on the theme; “Possessing the Nation”.

Paramount chief of Sefwi Bekwai traditional area, Oyeadeeyie Basape Kojo Armah lll praised the the church led by the area head;  Apostle Vincent Anana Denteh  for the massive clean up exercise.

Speaking with Awuku Addo Henex Radio Bibiani Oyeadeeyie Basape who actively took part in the clean up exercise together with the Queen Mother Nana Abena Aniwaa ll, Nana Marfo Panyin Adontenhene, and the Atipimhene expressed his profound gratitude for the effort made by the church of Pentecost to ensure good sanitation practice in the area. Nana urged all other churches and organizations in and around Sefwi Bekwai to emulate the Church of Pentecost .

Explaining to Awuku Addo Henex Radio Bibiani the essence and the motive of the exercise, Elder Jacob Kumi ,Area Deacon of the church of Pentecost Sefwi Bekwai Area said it’s a vision of the chairman of the church of Pentecost world wide, Aps. Eric Kwabena Nyamekye to ensure better sanitation in the country. Elder Kumi reiterated that the exercise is not going to be a nine-day wonder but will be held regularly. He also appealed to the Municipal Assembly to provide dust bins and vehicles to convey the refuse to its proper dump sites.
