Secretary To Ashanti Regional Chief Imam Praises MTN For Continued Support.

Alhaji Ustaz Ahmed Seidu, Executive Secretary to the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam has commended telecommunications giant, MTN Ghana 🇬🇭 for being a faithful partner.

Speaking to the media after receiving food items such as rice, oil, soft drinks and water and a ram 🐏 as well as GhC 10, 000 cedis towards the upcoming Eid celebrations, Alhaji Ustaz thanked MTN for their continued kindness.

The Executive Secretary said the office of the Chief Imam for over a decade continues to receive at Ramadan donations from MTN Ghana 🇬🇭.

“This gesture from MTN Ghana 🇬🇭 has been overwhelming and the Regional Chief Imam and the Muslim do not take it lightly at all since this mirrors the value the company places on us”, Alhaji Ustaz stressed.

MTN Senior Manager:
Mr Simon Amoh, Senior Manager, Regional Sales-Northern Ghana 🇬🇭 commended the regional Chief Imam and Muslims for the sacrifice they display yearly.

He noted that to embark on a 30-day fast to pray for the country and it’s citizens was not a joke.

MTN, Mr Amoh noted, therefore takes the religious act seriously and has for more than a decade donated towards the office of the Chief Imam.

“We salute the National Chief Imam, the other regional Chief Imams, and Muslims across the country for the sacrificial act of fasting and it is our prayer that the partnership we enjoy would stay. We are therefore committed to doing our part every year to make the Chief Imams celebrate the EID that follows Ramadan in a good way”, Mr Amoh stated.

Mr Amoh said MTN Ghana 🇬🇭 was today donating to support the National Chief Imam as he prepares to break the fast and celebrate EID.

Additionally, he said similar donations were going on in the northern and Western Regions of Ghana.

MTN Activations:
The MTN Senior Manager disclosed that data services and other customer care services would be available to Muslims at Independence Square during the Eid celebrations.

He noted that as the people gather for the National celebration, they will need MTN services such as data activations.
