A midyear review of the 2014 budget statement and Economic policy is expected to be presented by the Minister of Finance, Seth Tekper to parliament today.
The presentation is to keep the general public informed about how well the economy performed last year and the first five months of this year.
Ahead of the presentation, the Chairman of the select committee on Finance, James Avedzi expects to see Seth Tekper inform the house about how targets set for this year can be achieved.
Meanwhile, the MP for Obuasi West Kweku Kwarteng who is also a member of the Finance Committee said the Finance Minister must roll out workable strategies to stop further depreciation of the cedi.
