Prophet Isaac Anto, General Overseer of the Conquerors Chapel International
The General Overseer of the Conquerors Chapel International, Prophet Isaac Anto has said there are a crop of pastors who do not pass as pastors in that sense.
“They are not born again Christians let alone be pastors. At best they are stomach pastors”, Prophet Anto who gave audience in a one-on-one interview to UTV’s Yaa Konama on the special edition of “Mpu ne Mpu” programme last Sunday.
He said these pastors have not received any anointing neither have they had any divine calling or qualification and attributed their conduct to spiritism, what he termed spirit cultic.
Prophet Anto further explained that the said pastors indulge in spiritism for fame and large congregation for selfish ends.
The reason is that people are desperate for solution to their marital, financial and protection problems hence these pastors resort to all sorts of directions (akwankyire) to woo their following.
He indicated that in spite of the presence of the charlatans who indulge in all kinds of activities, there are good pastors in the country who are really preaching the word of God.
The man of God said pastors are to be humble and servants and be ready to serve people quoting Philippians 2:5 which enjoins pastors to imitate the attitude of Christ Jesus in humility.
The Akim Foase born prophet predicted that 2020 would be a year of storm and tribulation globally to be seen in economic hardships, rise in value of the dollar and the pound sterling, lawlessness, destruction and premature deaths and prescribed intensive prayers as the solution to stop the envisaged storm as no political party can change the trend of economic hardships.
The author of 12 books including “Office of the prophet” and “Character of a prayerful Christian” urged the government to stamp its authority and deal with lawlessness which is a sign of the end time.
He said when the anti-Christ comes lawlessness cannot be controlled and that it is only God who can provide the required security and protection for the people and society.
According to him, the state and law enforcement agencies must not hesitate to deal imprisonment terms and punitive measures to law breakers to severe as deterrent to wrong doers.
He said the laws of the land must be enforced else we, as a nation, would be fighting a losing battle against lawlessness in general and corruption in particular.
“To achieve results, Ghanaians must be educated on their civic rights and the laws”, the prophet prescribed.
