The former Presiding member for Kwadaso Municipal Assembly; Hon Kwame Kwakye has condemned former President John Dramani Mahama’s decision to legalize and regulate Okada business if he wins December 7 general elections.
Former President John Dramani Mahama’s promised to legalize and regulate Okada business has received criticism from a section of Ghanaians.
Former Presiding Member for Kwadaso Municipal Assembly; Kwame Kwakye, speaking on Ambassador Community Project hosted by Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo said former President John Dramani Mahama is just making fun of Ghanaians with his promise to legalize Okada business.
According to him, legalization and regulation of Okada business promised by former President John Dramani Mahama is cheap propaganda to win votes since he is desperate to lead Ghana again.
“I was surprised when I heard former President John Dramani Mahama’s promise about legalization and regulation of Okada business. He is just provoking Ghanaians and he has to be serious with Ghanaians. Ghanaians need better policies and not legalization of Okada business. Ghanaians are already angry with him so he should stop provoking Ghanaians” Kwame Kwakye said.
He added that former President John Dramani Mahama should introduce policies which will bring economic transformation if he wants to lead Ghana again as president.
He however charged Ghanaians to vote based on track record and not to listen to lies and propaganda.
