A leading member of the ruling NDC in the Ashanti region is almost sure former Ashanti regional Minister, Samuel Sarpong and his former Deputy Joseph Yammini will be reassigned to other government positions soon.
Alhaji Tabsoba who was speaking on Fox FM said he was not surprised at all when he received news of the removal of the two Ashanti ministers.
“No position is permanent and every politician especially understands that. So this is not a surprise at all”.
He also debunked claims the two have been removed because they have failed to perform as expected, saying that there are several positive reasons why a politician would be removed from a current office.
“Only the president knows the reason. People make unnecessary conjectures which might not necessarily be true but I’m sure both of them will be reasigned because the president knows their good work. To me, it’s not a sack”.
Alhaji Tabsoba believes there are many who are sad about the news of the removal of the two than those who are happy.
The NDC member who sounded almost sure told the host “mark it on the wall they will be reassigned. look, its not everything we can say on air”.
