Cynthia Lumor, Corporate Services Executive of MTN has urge mobile phone users to take advantage of mobile advertising which is cheaper than traditional advertising.
Addressing guests at the launch of the MTN Ghana partnership with Integrat to make popular the new Mobile Advertising platform, she said it is an innovative advertising channel that enables advertisers to reach potential targets via mobile device.
She expressed that with MTN’s Mobile Advertiser service, consumers will receive information on options for goods and services in an efficient manner, that suppliers can have their pick of avenues to reach their preferred audience in a cost – effective manner.
“MTN’s partnership with Integrat further demonstrates MTN’s commitment to leading the delivery of bold new digital world to customers and provide cutting edge solutions to brighten the lives of customers, and as the leading telecom company with the largest customer base, we hope the Mobile Advertising will give advertisers the necessary reach they require” she stressed.
According to Madam Lumor, MTN was the only company to receive three prestigious awards at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Awards and thus wish to use the opportunity to thank customers who are dedicated to their services.
Lazarus Muchenje CEO of InTarget told the gathering the MTN Mobile Advertiser offers options like bulk/dialogue sms, end of call / sms notification, account recharge notification, start of call (MTN Zone) notification and please call me back (PCM) option.
He said the platform is a great resource to both customers and advertisers who want to measure the growth of their businesses.
He gave testimonies of three companies; First Bank, Nigeria Breweries and Metropolitan Insurance in South Africa who have benefited immensely from the services of the Mobile Advertising.
Some Ghanaians who have also experienced the service like Hisense, Samara Group and a micro finance company also shared the wonderful advantages from the mobile advertisement and called on others to join as messages can be targeted at specific segments based on age, gender, interests or demographic considerations at prices that are affordable and cheaper than traditional advertising.
