Kyidomhene of the Techiman Traditional Area, Oyeadeye Asa Akompanin II has called on all Ghanaians to join hands to support the development of the country.
Nana Akompanin who is also Krobohene, was speaking to Techiman-based Winners FM during his yam festival of the people of Krobo, a suburb of Techiman.
He also emphasized the need for all to be subject to the laws of the land. He believes a lawless country will not achieve much in terms of development.
The weeklong yam festival has been marked by several Christian prayer sessions from Monday as well as a crusade on the theme “Jesus is the yam of life”.
The festival also marks the chief’s 32nd anniversary on the stool.
Several government, religious and traditional functionaries are expected to grace the grand durbar Saturday as the chief makes merry with his subjects.
