Some youth of the newly created Techiman North District have demanded the removal of the District Chief Executive of the area.
They say Hon. Anthony Marnuh has not been up to task by their judgment.
The group; Concerned Youth of NDC-Techiman North District in a press statement explained that the DCE has never embarked on any visits to the various communities making up the district.
They also accuse him of not doing anything about the poor road network linking the food basket to other towns and villages.
Other issues raised by the youth who were ostensibly angry when they spoke to rawgist.com include poor sanitation, lack of accountability, poor human relations among others.
“On the 9th September,2014, the DCE indicated to the Parliamentary select committee under the Ministry of Local government and rural Development that he had built two kindergarten blocks in Techiman North District which are nowhere to be found.”
“In all we do not need him and call for his removal from office to pave way for a competent person to win more votes for the party in the upcoming elections”, they concluded.
rawgist.com sources within the party reveal that the DCE is seen to be working against the interest of the party; a situation they believe will cost them votes if not averted.
It is not clear yet what the next line of action of the youth will be but the youth, led by their Local Chairman, Kwame Sarkodie have vowed to ensure the DCE gets the sack.
