The Techiman Traditional Area went gay amidst drumming and dancing in grand style to celebrate their entry into the premiership.
There was about three hour’s traffic jam in the principal streets of the Techiman Township during which Vehicles could not move and had to stand still throughout the period.
People from all walks of life from far and wide were very excited and happy the long awaited premiership is coming back to Techiman.
All you could hear in the cheering song is Techiman City is the pride of Bronkyempem and must be given the needed recognition and all teams in Ghana must keep cool and surrender when they meet the Mighty Team.
The cheering entourage with the Team later assembled at the Techiman Traditional Council to alert the King and his sub chiefs of the latest news so far as soccer in Ghana is concerned.
Briefing the Traditional Council, The CEO Charles Kwadwo Ntim a.k.a Micky Charles of Techiman City gave thanks to the Almighty Lord and thanked the council for their unflinching support throughout the competition.
He told them that the team had gone through a lot therefore the need to come and inform the Council headed by Oseadeayo Ekumfi Ameyaw IV about the current happenings.
The Omanhene addressing them said they should keep their head up and fight hard to raise the flag of Ghana high anywhere around the globe.
He assured them of the council’s preparedness to support them in diverse ways for future successes adding that the playing body and the entire management crew should psyche their body system for every competition.
