Ghana News-The Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North constituency in the Ashanti region Nana Marfo Amaniapong says the average Ghanaian man is very corrupt.
He says our actions and inaction as a people amount to corruption and urged Ghanaians to guard against any form of corruption.
‘’We don’t have love for the country, if we did, we wouldn’t be where we are now as a nation. Isn’t it the same God who created Americans and Nigerians that created Ghanaians? So why are we lagging behind in terms of development’’ he queried.
“How different are we from “Kwasi Nyantekyi “as Ghanaians and what lessons have we learnt from his case? he quizzed.
“As we speak, majority of us are engaged in similar conduct”, he revealed and accused those at the helm of affairs of being unrepentant about corruption.
He expressed worry over our inability as a people to curb the canker fast spreading in the body politic of the country.
He was responding to concerns raised by Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) on Oyerepa Breakfast on their plea to government to stabilize the cedis.
The MP also accused the association of not helping the government’s move to stabilize the cedis against the major trading currencies.
