The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Justin Kodua says there is enough indication that country’s youth will overwhelmingly endorse the candidature of Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo as president of Ghana in the December polls.
Speaking to the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper in Kumasi, the NPP man said the youth looked forward to a better future for themselves and their families.
This hope, he stressed was in the fact that Nana Addo provides a clear message of transformation for them.
The NPP flag-bearer, the youth organizer noted had also amply demonstrated his passion for the youth and stressed the determination to give a better launch pad to the youth when he is elected president.
REASONS:
Giving more reasons to buttress his earlier points, Mr Kodua said most of the youth were currently in a highly distressing position since many were either in need of jobs or avenues to ply a trade.
He noted others who had been privileged to undergo a form of training, lacked the capital to start any business or trade they had learned.
These, he noted were the reason why many of the youth roamed the streets aimlessly with some turning to robbery so as to survive.
With the unstable market and economy, some of the youth who were determined to enter into trading with some small amounts of money, Mr Kodua had to beat retreat because the capital they were holding had been rendered useless by the fluctuating exchange rates.
POLICIES:
Narrating the policies the NPP flag-bearer had promised, the Ashanti NPP Youth Leader mentioned programs linked to infrastructure design, education and many others would be youth centered.
According to him, the one factory one district promise by the NPP leader, would be led and accomplished by the express participation of the youth.
He noted every massive infrastructure and social development had been led by the youth and pointed to his faith in Nana Addo in taking the youth along his policy.
Mr Kodua disclosed how the flag-bearer had been calling on the youth organizers of the part to consciously design programs for the youth to keep them active since they would be the architects of his transformational agenda for the country.
HOPE:
Sounding optimistic, the NPP youth organizer urged the youth to keep hope alive by placing their votes on Nana Akuffo-Addo as the country readies itself for the presidential polls in December.
Mr Kodua also rallied others who were undecided to join the bandwagon of change which was being driven by the NPP flag-bearer.
He stressed a better future was in sight for the youth if they could keep their hope in the NPP flag-bearer by joining the train of change.
‘’Lets rally behind Nana Addo as he leads us into the transformational agenda he has so much elaborated for the welfare of the youth’’, the Youth Leader emphasized.
