Think long term investment-Dr. Nduom admonishes

Nduom1The Head of Groupe Nduom and flag-bearer of the Progressive Peoples Party(PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has stated that the best investments are the ones done for a long term.

According to him, dividends emanating from such long term businesses and savings had the potential of sustaining any business, entity or individual for a longer period of time.

Speaking at a brief customer appreciation and business forum by Groupe Nduom in Kumasi, the experienced business owner and politician advised against short term investments.

He insisted those who relied on short term businesses and investments were sure to reap crumbs or minimal interests from their savings.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
Drawing from his immense experience, Dr Nduom narrated how a paltry 300 dollars investment he made into Fan Milk Ghana Limited a few years back had suddenly generated dividends amounting to about GHC 40,000.00.

This, he maintained was a simple demonstration of how much he would have gained if he had done same with a bigger amount.

He, therefore, admonished small and medium scale business owners to invest boldly since the returns would help sustain their businesses in the near future.

He stressed the Ghanaian worker could do far more with his pension money after service if they learned to save and invest some portion of their salaries in a long term business entity or company.

TRUST:
According to the famous businessman, businesses thrived on trust and therefore those who owned same must demonstrate bouts of trust to the public.

This, he believes would elicit confidence from the public in doing business with such entities since they could be trusted with huge capital.

Dr Nduom stressed Groupe Nduom had become a household name because of the trust people reposed in them, revealing the company now had over 275 branches across the country.

He asked the public to do a check on entities they want to conduct business with since many in the past had proven to be unworthy customers.

He recalled instances where some financial institutions that suddenly appeared on the market had to close down due to their unfaithfulness in repaying the huge packages they  promised.
