Togbui Dagadu congratulates Prosper Bani, and extends gratitude to President-Elect
Paramount Chief of the Akpini Traditional Area; Okpekpewuokpe Akpinifia Dagadu IX has extended his gratitude to President-Elect H.E. John Dramani Mahama for appointing a son of Kpando to head the Interim National Security Coordinating team.
President-Elect John Dramani Mahama a few days ago appointed Prosper Douglas Bani to lead the team. The statement released by the office of the President-Elect named other members of the team as

General Peter Augustine Blay (Rtd.), former Chief of Defence Staff [ ] Kofi Totobi Quakyi, former Minister for National Security [ ] Larry Gbevlo-Lartey Esq., former National Security Coordinator [ ] Brigadier General Fuseini Iddrisu (Rtd.) [ ] COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye (Rtd.)In a statement issued by the Paramountcy of the Akpini Traditional Area, Akpinifia Dagadu IX congratulated his son on the appointment whiles expressing praise for John Mahama for recognising an illustrious son of his land. ” An appointment to such sensitive position shows clearly the level of trust and confidence in his abilities ” , Akpinifia Dagadu IX stated and added that ” we have every confidence in the abilities of Hon. Prosperous Bani to provide effective and efficient leadership “.
Togbui Dagadu IX also reminded the President of other illustrious people from Kpando and the Volta region who are capable and poised to serve in the government of H.E. John Mahama.
