Former Aduana Stars defender Wahab Adams has informed coach Yusif Abubakar via WhatsApp that he can no
longer renew his contract with the club.
The most sought after defender trained with the Dormaa based club on Wednesday and asked to be excused to attend to his sick wife, only to inform the coach via WhatsApp of his unexpected decision that, “Coach I am sorry but I have to tell you this, I can no longer continue with Aduana stars” he stated in the message.
Wahab Adams played an integral role in Aduana stars quest for their second league title in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
He was expected to be part of their journey to the CAF Champions league in which they have drawn with Libyan El Tahadi but Wahab is currently in negotiations with Kotoko and could join the Garden City giants sooner rather than later. Barring any unforeseen eventualities, Wahab will put pen to paper on Friday December 15 for the Porcupine Warriors .
