Addressing a Regional Youth Conference of the NPP in Kumasi, the Second Lady said the free Senior High School, the restoration of teacher training allowance, the one district one factory on policy and many others were examples of competent ideas.
The second lady noted that the very implementation of the free SHS policy shows that the NPP has a transformational agenda for the people of Ghana.
She mentioned that every nation that has developed used education to carry out its transformation, adding the investments the NPP is making in the implementation of the free SHS will yield unimaginable dividends for the people in ten years time.
‘’We in the NPP believe in competence because our leader, Nana Akufo-Addo with the programs he has embarked on display competence beyond the ordinary’’, Samira touted to wild cheers from the audience.
CHARGE:
The second lady charged the youth of the party to be proud of the policies the government is implementing.
These policies, she noted have been tailored towards the youth and urged them to take advantage of same and make their lives better.
Hajia Samira said the government is committed to fulfilling all the promises it made to the good people of Ghana.
44 programs and projects, the second lady said have been initiated and implemented by the government in two years including the paperless payment system at the ports as well as the implementation of the digital address system.
‘’Let me take my time and remind you of all the 44 programs and projects the government of Nana Akufo-Addo has in two years implemented so you know that we are a faithful party’’, Samira stressed.
INAUGURATION:
Inaugurating the working Committee of the Ashanti Regional Youth organizers, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), National Youth Organizer of the NPP charged the members to work to ensure every youth in Ashanti is won for NPP.
He noted that the work they will do will ensure the success of the party in the upcoming general elections in 2020.
Nelson Owusu Ansah, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the NPP called on the committee members to work together to ensure they deliver on the mandate given them.
Present at the elaborate regional event was the regional chairman and executives of the Ashanti NPP, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), NPP youth and student wings as well as Chief Executives of State institutions (CEOs), supporters and sympathizers of the party.
