Francis Adomako, Ashanti regional organizer for the New Patriotic Party
The regional organiser for the New Patriotic Party, Francis Adomako says the regional branch will provide support to the women wing to ensure they conduct an active campaign ahead of the 2020 elections.
He noted that women groups such as the NPP women’s wing and Loyal ladies play important role in the scheme of the party’s activities and therefore resourcing them for effective electioneering will be in order.
Mr Adomako told the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper over the weekend that there will be back up for the women anytime they embark on campaigns.
He mentioned that both constituency and branch organizers will be in handy to help the women’s wing and other ladies group when they embark on outreaches or outdoor campaigns.
‘’We are solid behind our women and all identifiable ladies groups within the party so far as they use the right structures so that we can also support them in what they intend doing ahead of the 2020 polls’’, Mr Adomako stressed.
RESOURCES:
The Regional Organiser revealed plans by the regional party executives to resource all identifiable groups within the party.
This, he noted is to make the groups active and vibrant ahead of the 2020 electioneering campaign.
Mr Adomako intimated that the party intends to take all 47 parliamentary seats in the 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
He however admitted that such feat cannot be achieved easily except the party oil machinery is well oiled for the 2020 campaign.
‘’We are not oblivious of the fact that victory will not come easy in 2020 but we are also firm in our minds what strategy to deplore ahead of the main campaign period’’, the regional organiser noted.
STRATEGY:
Speaking about the strategy the party will be adopting ahead of the 2020 elections, Mr Adomako said it will be a comprehensive one.
He noted that the party will be adopting every plan to win the hearts and minds of people in the Ashanti Region.
‘’We the regional executives are committed to using a very comprehensive strategy to winning the hearts and mind of the electorate and we intend to harp on the splendid programs President Akufo-Addo is implementing to tell our story’’, Francois posited.
