Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister; Hon. Joseph Yammin says people’s clothes will be collected for the state when a new NDC government takes over power in 2021.
He was speaking to rawgist.com after he had been hosted on Abusua FM by Kwame Adinkra.
“There’s a group of NPP youth going round collecting people’s cars claiming it is either stolen or is state owned. They accuse former State officials falsely of stealing vehicles and have harassed many of them at various places and interestingly, civil society, religious leaders, opinion leaders have all been quiet whiles radio presenters only laugh about the story”.
Joseph Yammin says sadly that “it is now clear that when your party comes to power whatever you have will be as a result of your ability to steal from the state. No one can legitimately acquire any belongings without stealing from the state. So I can assure you that in 2021 when our party forms the government if you are seen wearing a new dress which was bought during your party’s tenure of office, you will have to go home naked if unfortunately we find you outside your house and I hope radio presenters will laugh over it like they are doing today whiles civil society, religious leaders and opinion leaders as well continue to be quiet as they are today”.
“Don’t take it lightly because am very hopeful the NDC delegates will make me their chairman and when I am chairman when we come to power in 2020 I will personally supervise it like Saul in the Bible supervised the stoning of Stephen”.
He urged all NDC members to help work at various stages of the party as they head for election 2020. He explained that the NPP can only be booted out in 2020 with hard work.
