Former Deputy Ashanti regional minister; Joseph Yammin has declared that the President will get a 100% endorsement during the forthcoming Primaries for the NDC.
He made the declaration when he graced the youth empowerment capacity building programme at Adansi Asokwa.
He told the gathering he is going to move round the constituencies in the region to ensure President John Mahama gets 100 percent endorsement.
Speaking to the enthusiastic crowd he emphasized the potentials of lawyer Evans Amankwa who was the 2012 parliamentary candidate for the area and asked the people to give him the chance to take the seat away from the opposition New Patriotic Party.
Evans Amankwah contested the Adansi north seat in 2012 where he put up a tremendous performance, closing the gap between the NDC and the NPP in the area to less than a thousand (1000) votes.
Joseph Yammin also picked on the NPP and their flag bearer; Nana Akufo Addo saying that “No matter what he eats and how many inches he adds to his height he is going to make history by being the first candidate to lose 3 straight elections in Ghana”.
He re-echoed his commitment to the party’s 1 million votes target in the Ashanti region as well as winning ten parliamentary seats.
