Deputy Ashanti regional Minister Joseph Yammin has taken a swipe at the Member of Parliament for Adansi-Asokwa, Hon. KT Hammond for not championing the development of his people despite several opportunities to bring significant development to them.
Hon. Yammin who was addressing NDC faithful at Adansi Asokwa told residents the time has come for them to vote out their MP over non-performance.
He questioned what Hon. KT Hammond did for them as Deputy Minister for Energy and went ahead to compare him with Dr. Oteng Adjei who according to him ensured that as Energy minister, the whole of his region got electricity.
“All he did was to sell Ghana’s ship”, Yammin opined.
The Deputy Ashanti regional minister seemed incensed about a purported statement by Hon. KT Hammond that he did not see what the current government was doing for Ghanaians.
“If at all he cannot see, what about this road leading into the town? Is he having an eye problem?” Yammin queried rhetorically and went ahead to outline several projects he attributes to the NDC within the area.
He asked residents of the area to vote out the “non-performing politician” in order to receive more development into the region.
