Deputy General Secretary of the NPP Lawyer Obiri Boahene has been blamed for being behind the challenges facing the Manhyia North NPP Parliamentary Primaries.
Incumbent NPP MP for Manhyia North Collins Owusu Amankwah in an ugly war of words with the Deputy General Secretary accused him of being behind all the problems facing the constituency.
The clash of the two occurred on Asempa FM’s Ekosii S3n programme.
Nana Obiri Boahene also retorted by calling Hon. Collins Owusu Amankwah an anti-Nana Addo man; a tag the MP was unhappy about.
“When was the last time you worked for Nana Addo? I am highly disappointed in you. You are a stomach politician” were some of the words the MP directed to Nana Obiri Boahene.
Nana Obiri Boahene has accused “senior elements” within the NPP of flirting with “elements” in the governing NDC; a situation he reckons will derail the chances of the party from winning power.
Nana Obiri Boahene would not mention names of those in bed with the NDC, but said the party will come out with full details in the fullness of time.
The Manhyia North NPP Primaries has suffered some setbacks resulting in the postponement of the elections.
