Ike Ewuah Mensah, a native of Saltpond-Ankaful in the Central Region has donated assorted medicines to a Chip Compound in the community.
He also presented books and learning aids amounting to GHC 2, 800.00 to a Creche located at the health facility.
At a brief ceremony held at the hall of the health facility last week, Mr Ewuah Mensah noted his delight at the opportunity to give back to his community.
He appealed to other natives of Saltpond to replicate the example shown and help to support the community that gave them life.
”I am happy to be standing here today to give back to the community that gave me opportunity to live my life to the fullest and i pray others will do same to make Saltpond a better place we can be proud of”, Mr Mensah with a teary eye noted.

ADVICE:
Mr Ewuah Mensah advised the administrator at the Chip Compound to do all she can to make the place the obvious choice for residents to seek medical care.
He commended the staff and workers for sacrificing time and efforts to attend to the sick and in a timely manner.
He revealed the medical items was given to him freely by his employer, Dr Beatrice Wiafe Addai, a renowned cancer surgeon through the support of Direct-Relief, a US-based organisation.
The philantrophist also charged authorities at the creche to give the kids the best of care at all times and help them to read the books donated.
COMMENDATION:
Nana Ntsiful V, the chief of Ankaful who was present at the ceremony thanked Mr Ewuah Mensah for his thoughtfulness.
He urged other natives of Ankaful and Saltpond to emulate the example of the young philanthropist.
Assembly woman of the area, Madam Ama Kwansimah recieving the items thanked the benefactor for his kindness.
She revealed that the items will do the health center a lot of good since they struggle to get such high quality drugs to administer to patients.
